Our Origin Story:

TLDR - Welcome to my mid-life crisis

My parents were thrifty af; buying used over new, reusing and refurbishing, and wasting as little as possible. My siblings and I may have bemoaned the frequent family trips to charity shops and yard sales (and just straight up curb diving which embarrassed the hell out of us), but were instilled with a deep appreciation for sustainability.

As I got busy building my own career and raising a family of my own though, it was a lot easier to order on Amazon, even if I harbored concerns over their quality (in product and labor practices) and knew I’d regret the decision as soon as I had to put it together myself.

But a move, a midlife crisis, and a career change has brought me back to my commitment to sustainable, ALREADY ASSEMBLED furniture, and inspired this first launch of Last Stop Antiques Shop. We feature furnishings, home goods and fashions to help you live more beautifully, functionally, and sustainably.
